Introducing...the Heart Attack from Chops and Hops in Watkinsville, GA.
This massive beast may have the potential to create a myocardial infarction but the Heart Attack I'm referring to is the burger above.
Soft kaiser roll, bacon, fried egg, rosemary mayo, fried onion rings, cheddar cheese and 8oz of meat cooked to a perfect medium paired with a side of french fries.
Whoa. Killer.
Did I mention that it comes with a fried egg?
Focus. Back to the text now instead of food heaven.
Before your entrée, you get a basket of house potato chips with green onions and a bleu cheese drizzle. The chips are crispy, crunchy and thick - great snacks. The bleu cheese didn't really do it for me as it was somewhat gluey and lacking that pungent cheese taste. Solution? Crack some of that McCormick Sea Salt on the table over the chips. Delicious.
Again, for all the food pr0n addicts, another burger shot.
Better bring your nitroglycerins for this one.

Thanks for the review. I'm a Athens foodie and chef. I love reading local blog-type things, but most just quit doing it after a couple posts. I hope you stick with it, eat out often, and keep posting about all of the good food this town has to offer.
Too many sites (Yelp, Urbanspoon, etc.) just end up being negative forums for people to complain. I admire people who build people/restaurants/local businesses up.
Again, I enjoy your blog. I hope you keep it up!
Ate there tonight, staff was goofy, food was bleh, The chips with sauce were inedible. Burger was good, but our order was so messed up one us had to eat (waited) last.....not good. Need to hire something other than college kids.
